Rental times are from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Deliveries will take place at the NexBoats hut in the Cala en Bosc Marina or at the marina office there as per the contract. The boat will be returned to the same marina of departure before 7 p.m. Returns occurring after that time and that are not due to causes beyond the control of the renting party, will be fined €100 for every hour delayed.

Even if rented for more than 1 day, the boat will be returned to the marina before 7 p.m. for servicing, cleaning and preparation for the next day’s rental.

The rental price does not include fuel. Upon departure the boat will be delivered with a full fuel tank, and the consumption will be checked upon return. This must be paid separately at the NexFuel petrol station in the same marina.

Prices include fully comprehensive insurance with a €300 excess. The cost of damages that may be caused to the rented boat or another boat is covered by the insurance, from the amount of the excess, as are breakdowns and collection of the boat if necessary. The client undertakes to pay the excess should they cause flaws or damage to the boat or not return or lose material or equipment delivered with the boat.

When it is impossible to provide the rental service, we will proceed as follows:

Bad sea conditions or bad weather forecast:  our professional sailors will analyse the sea conditions and will recommend departure or to stay on land. If the schedule allows it, the rental date will be changed, otherwise the cost of the booking will be refunded.

Cancellation for personal reasons of the renting party: Cancellation: up to 30 days before, 20% of the total rental. Between 30 and 10 days before, 40% of the total rental. Less than 10 days before, 60% of the total rental. The same day, 100% of the total rental.

The boat pilot must hold the corresponding licence for the rented boat. The renting party assumes all liability for any fine, sanction or damages that arise from breaching the provisions of this clause, and for any breaches of the Marina Regulations committed during the validity of this contract. Sailing of the boat is limited to the coast of the island of Menorca; not being authorised nor dispatched for sailing between islands. None of the company’s boats may be used for water skiing. Animals are not permitted on board.

Maximum speed in ports and beaches is 3 knots. Respect bathing areas; always anchor outside the beach areas marked by yellow buoys. Respect boats flying diving flags. Company telephone number in the event of a problem or emergency: 617 312 597 / 660 230 361

The valid prices are those of the current year. Bookings shall only be accepted when accompanied by 50% of the total rental amount. Payments shall be made in advance, by bank transfer, in cash or by credit card. Prices include VAT.

It is expressly agreed that the company does not assume any liability for loss or damage to any property left, stored or which the renting party or any other person forgets, stores or transports on the boat, during the rental or after it has ended. The renting party assumes the risk of such losses and exempts the company from any claim for them and undertakes to hold it harmless from any claim arising for this reason, or for delay or postponement as a result of a breakdown of the boat, and even the possible change to the sea conditions caused by unforeseen meteorological reasons once the boat has gone to sea.

If the boat cannot return to port by its own means and needs assistance due to a mechanical breakdown, the client may only claim, according to each case, up to a maximum of 50% of the amount paid.

If the above situation is due to weather conditions, or any other reason beyond the control of the company, it will not be liable for the refund of any amount.
